Publish Storyline

A new page for public access to storyline (or roadmap) is available in v 1.06 of Book Writing Tool BWT application.

To publish is to make content available to the general public. Publishing of storyline chain is relevant only for topmost (root) storyline.

To publish a storyline go to Book Writing Tool Storyline Module. How to do this is described in Story Line post.

In the image a screenshot of the page is presented.

On the left column a list of topmost storyline is presented with small cards. Changing between storyline chains is available by clicking on the card.

publish storyline button: On the card a publish storyline button is available. When click on the button a form appear with public title of the storyline chain. Fill the tile and hit submit. An unique code will be generated this will be used as public reference for accessing this storyline chain.

explore button: After successful creation of the public code the publish storyline button will be replaced with explore button. When click on this button a public page will be opened showing the published storyline chain.

copy link button: Additionally to explore a copy link button will be available that will copy the link URL to the clipboard.

In the middle column where list of storylines under selected topmost one are presented the toolbar menu for managing public code is available. To see the toolbar the topmost card should be expanded. Action for delete and edit as open public page are available.

To share the storyline chain click on go to public page button. The public page will open. You can copy the public URL and send to the recipient.

visitors button:: The number next to the button shows number of public visitors. The click action will open a side panel with visitor list table.
